Jenn Schreiner: Eva was a warm and welcoming woman to me. I worked downtown during the latter years of Country Comfort. Used to bring her a rose on Valentines Day. Miss you Eva.

Karen Walsh Pio: I loved Eva. A regular at Country Comfort— I think I still own everything I bought there.

Sara Gasparrini: She had an Irish Setter named Brassy and she would show up at Hockanum Rd when she strayed; that’s how I met this beautiful Eva when they first came to town, her and Bill. I was 14!

Anne Zinkin: Used to skip spelling tests every week to hang out at Country Comfort, back when it occupied the space that Taco Villa moved into. Sigh.

Martin Carrera: Eva….All I can say and it not enough, but a beautiful soul she cared about Downtown Northampton.
