Memories
Martin Carrera: Monday nights at Baystate were memorable especially if the after party was at Ed’s Apartment.
Richard G Haskell: 🗣️Ed Vadas “Large and in charge” even in the late sixties and seventies for the crew born and raised in “HAMP” and the surrounding Hill Towns. We were young and we were improving..✌️
Mike Chrisman: The Pie-in-Ear Comedy Network met at Vast Ed’s EHamp apartment, above the laundromat. His best comedy advice to me was, “Mike, ya gotta bomb a thousand times.” I loved, when he played a blues song while hosting the open mic at Sheehans, he’d pick up a barstool and use its rounded leg as a guitar slide.
Libby Spencer: Ed Vadas was a dear friend. Brusque. Outspoken. He had no filters. You either loved him or hated him for his blunt honesty. I think of him and Jane often. I’ll miss him always.
David Sokol: The Vast One! A musical treasure with the best laugh I ever heard. Gone but never to be forgotten.
