Memories
Jeff Potter: The Wildweeds played on Ch. 13 in NYC. After we’d finished Abbie Hoffman was the next guest he had a cologne bottle shaped like an old cartoon bomb…He smashed it on the floor…I was sitting with our drummer, who was blind…It took me awhile to tell him what had occurred…The whole studio reeked !☺️
Cynthia D Holmes: I was in the jury pool but they sent me home as a UMass grad
Laurie Clark: Abby locked eyes with me on Main St and nodded. I was with a little girl and was explaining to her he was a very famous and important man.
Libby Spencer: Abbie. Another indominable activist for peace. Co-defendant with Amy Carter during what we called the CIA on Trial. We spent time together after hours at the office. I literally bought the t-shirt off his back for eight dollars. It said my country invaded Nicaragua and all I got was this lousy t-shirt.
Seana Justine: He went to my high school. I wish I’d been able to meet him.
Eddy Paul: I was there. Peace House Revolutionaries!!
Donald Abrahms: I covered the trial for the Northampton Community Network! A victory for justice!!
