Greg Hellman: Got to work with Ed over 5 summers at Smith Garden Dept. He was crazy smart, had a devilish sense of humor, and indulged all my stupid questions with patience and wisdom.

Elizabeth Loudon: He was my first gardening mentor. I think of so often. He knew all the plants in Shakespeare and was forever rescuing dying plants and trying to revive them.

Nancy Cowen: Ed Wing was a special human as well as a fine gardener. ❤️
